MASSAGE THERAPY
Therapeutic Massage Similar to Swedish massage this style of work has a basis in traditional western approaches to bodywork. Tailored to your body, it utilizes deep tissue techniques in a fluid manner to relieve pain comfortably and effectively. Incorporating stretches lengthens the muscles and reduces tensions. Therapeutic massage will soothe your body and mind; it is an excellent massage for regular maintenance. 60 min - $70 90 min - $90
Prenatal Massage Massage for the expectant mother is given in a side lying position using pillows for support and comfort. Prenatal massage helps to relieve low back pain, sciatica, fatigue and swelling of the hands and feet. Done only after the first trimester of pregnancy, it is a wonderful way to get in touch with both your body and your baby. 60 min - $70 90 min - $90
Hot Stone Massage This is a truly luxurious style of bodywork. Naturally smoothed basalt stones are heated to 120 degrees for this 1-1/2 hour session. These warm oiled rocks are used to work your entire body. When needed, cold stones are utilized to balance and restore. Alternating hot and cold stimulates increased blood flow to the muscles bringing with it essential nutrients for repair and nourishment. Often described as deep tissue in disguise, this gentle yet thorough style of bodywork penetrates deeper into the tissues than most forms of bodywork. Hot Stone Massage carries you beyond the physical experience of massage and leaves you wrapped in warmth and comfort. 90 min - $120 120 min - $150
THAI MASSAGE
Traditional Thai Therapy Also known as Thai-Yoga Therapy, this massage is done fully clothed while lying on a mat. The passive applications of yoga asanas blended with Shiatsu style massage benefits the whole body. Thai massage can be tailored to your body with deep tissue acupressure type work and heavy stretching or gentle soothing movements and light stretches. Unique because it strengthens and reenergizes sore tired muscles while inducing deep relaxation. Most notably this style of bodywork increases joint mobility and flexibility allowing the body to function more effectively. * Wear loose and comfortable clothing. ** We recommend NOT eating a couple hours prior to your massage 60 min - $75 90 min - $95 120 min - $120
Thai Herbal Compress Known in Thailand as Luk Pra Kob these compresses are made from a blend of various herbs including ginger, lemongrass, lime and many more. Gathered and bound in muslin cloth to form a firm ball, they are steamed to release the essential oils and applied directly to the skin. The application of moist heat and aromatics has been noted to have anti-inflammatory, analgesic and muscle relaxant properties. It has been utilized for centuries to mothers post birth, for chronic and persistent muscular pain and historically to warriors returning from battle. Our compresses are imported from Thailand assuring superior craftsmanship and the use of traditional herbal blends. This treatment is preformed in conjunction with a Traditional Thai Massage and it is necessary to wear clothing that allows access to the skin. * Turmeric, a compress ingredient may cause fabric staining. 90 min - $120 120 min - $150
